‘Unmarked’, like hell it is. Look at all the damned marks on the rear bumper!

My most recent unmarked car encounter was a purple Taurus. With a nudge bar on the front. I have yet to see a non-cop driven Taurus, but the nudge bar’s a dead giveaway.

I noticed him following me, then he pulled up beside on the passenger side and rolled down his window part way. Then he dropped back and came around on the driver’s side, and did the same thing. He followed me like that for five minutes, switching sides a couple times. We made eye contact at a stop light and he just stared at me with that steely cop look that says “I know you’re doing something wrong.” I’m pretty sure he thought my exhaust was too loud, so I just short shifted and stayed under a half-throttle, and eventually he left.

You have no idea how sketchy it was marking up the license plate with a fat Sharpie(tm). Thought for sure I was going to get caught.

Hey gog, you may want to reconsider your eye contact strategy. That’s not been working for people: http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/31/us/…

It wasn't quite deliberate on my part. I just glanced over, and he was staring straight at me. It was right after he swapped sides the first time and I didn't realize he'd done it yet.
